Look at the washed finish and the small embroidered details
The bird sits in a relatively small area above the bill rather than filling the whole front. The contrast between green panels and a darker bill matters as much as the artwork itself. For a small label, this is a useful reminder that the wash, fabric color and thread colors should be approved together.

From the inside you can see black seam tape running up the panels and the adjustable back strap. Those are worth adding to the spec alongside the washed outer finish and small bird design.
What to get right on the first sample
- Choose a washed-look swatch rather than describing the finish as 'vintage' only.
- Confirm the bird artwork size and thread palette at the actual sew-out size.
- Check whether the curved bill and crown should hold their shape or feel softer.
